Nuova ASP wins € 2M contract for Ain Sukhna Product Hub (ASPH) project
Nuova ASP is proud to announce the award of € 2 million contract for Ain Sukhna Product Hub (ASPH) project in Egypt.
The project Ain Sukhna Product Hub ASPH, whose main contract has been signed between EGAS and SUMED, includes onshore and offshore facilities and aims to provide the services of storage, loading, unloading and send out of fuel oil, LPG and natural gas. Based in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt, the project aims to answer to the growing regional demand for refined petroleum products.
The project includes the construction of a 2.2 kilometer pier with a depth range of 19-21 meters to accommodate LNG tankers up to a capacity of 216,000 m³, Floating Storage & Regasification Units (FSRU) with capacity up to 170,000 m³, fuel oil and LPG tankers, as well as the construction of a number of LPG and fuel oil tanks.
The project will be accomplished in two phases: phase 1 involves the handling of liquefied natural gas, while phase 2 involves the handling of LPG and fuel oil.
Nuova ASP’s scope of supply includes LED lightings, local panels, enclosures and plugs&sockets which will be used to the Storage Tank Farm & Topside Facility (Lot II); it represents an important order for the Company as it consolidates the Corporate presence in the Egyptian market, which has always been a key country for Nuova ASP business.
